With the autumnal equinox approaching, we’re inching closer and closer to crisp, fall weather.

And, on the heals of our recent feature in the “autumn” edition of Cottages & Bungalows Magazine, we’re excited to share the fun & seasonal decor we incorporated into the magazine photo shoot (with sources!)

If you’re not a seasonal decorator, we’ve come up with 10 Autumnal Decor Finds that will have your home feeling warm and cozy just in time for the cool weather - all under $30!

Tip: Incorporate seasonal clothing like scarves and footwear into your home decor.

Start in the kitchen or mudroom. I love to embellish a simple bench with a textured blanket, plaid pillow, small exterior piece such as a lantern and something “alive” like plants or vegetables (here I used a pumpkin).

Then, make it feel personal with an item of seasonal clothing: a plaid vest, a cozy scarf or your trusty pair of rain boots. It might not be the first place you’d look for decor, but your closet is the best kept secret for styling your home! Bonus, when you actually need them, they’ll be right where you need them.

On a mantel or console table, start with a crisp white vase and add height with seasonal foliage. In the fall, I love to use bittersweet (those little red and orange berries) in baskets and on tables. If you can’t find them wild, there are great faux options available that can be reused year-after-year.

In the bathroom, upgrade your everyday hand soap to a seasonal scent. In the living room, top your coffee table with a book about the changing season or add a complex scented candle, like vanilla or tobacco, for guest visits.
